A geeky confession

Now I confess, I’m a geek. I love to debug and design complex computer systems. I love to read poetry, great novels and the encyclopedia. I’m happy when I have a new gadget to play with and computers to tinker. I listen to classical musics and would enjoy a nice techie chat with my fellow geeks. I love seeing numbers and solving hard math problems. I gasp when I see a blue screen in my pc monitor and fix it without consulting a technician. I would prefer being stuck in front of the computer and reading online journals rather than going outside and be burned by the sizzling sun.

But now, I had seen the light. I learned about the world outside  my desktop. Now I know that there are beings beyond the walls of knowledge built around me. Friends, kabarkadas and colleagues whom I never did imagine that I will miss till this day. I learned what the words "party" and "gimik"  really means. It finally convinced me that there are other things better in this world. Slowly, it captured me and drifted me from my small world.

Will I still be a geek? or will i have to embrace this new life I found?

Now I’m confused.. damn it…

Ala lang… gusto ko lang i-share… baka may makiramay ehehehe

Mabuti yan, nakakalabas ka sa lungga mo. Been there, done that.

And you will see that kapag kelangan mo nang bumalik sa pagka-geek, mahirap nang gawin.

    Hehe, speaking from experience kasi…
